Nashra Sandhu clinched the 8th spot
Pakistan’s spin queens are turning heads!
Sadia Iqbal has soared to the No.1 spot in the ICC Women’s T20I Bowling Rankings with a rating of 746, while Nashra Sandhu clinched the 8th spot — tying with Australia’s Georgia Wareham at 704.
It’s a tight race at the top — just 44 points separate Sadia from 10th-placed Afy Fletcher, showing how fierce the competition is among the world’s top bowlers.
England’s Lauren Bell also made headlines, jumping two places to a career-best 4th after a fiery 3-wicket haul against India.
On the batting front, India’s Smriti Mandhana is closing in on the crown! Her century (112) against England pushed her to 3rd in the ICC Women’s T20I Batter Rankings, just 23 points shy of No.1 Beth Mooney. Mandhana also hit a career-best rating of 771.

Fellow Indian opener Shafali Verma edged up to 13th, while Harleen Deol re-entered the charts at joint 86th after a blistering 43.
Meanwhile, South Africa’s Miane Smit rocketed to 76th with a fifty against the Windies, and ex-skipper Sune Luus climbed to 31st among T20I all-rounders after solid all-round displays.
⚠️ However, on the batting side, no Pakistani player features in the top 35 — a gap that needs fixing!
It is worth mentioning that Sadia Iqbal has been the ICC Women’s T20I #1 bowler for two straight months, reclaiming the top spot in May (May 27, 2025) and holding strong through June into early July
