PSL 10 Draft Silver Category with Star Players from 20+ Countries

-

Major Changes to Draft Structure Set to Spice Up the Action!

The countdown to PSL 10 is on, and the excitement is soaring as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) reveals a star-studded list of international players in the Silver category!

The roster features top talent from cricketing powerhouses like the USA, West Indies, Zimbabwe, Australia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, England, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, and more. With over 20 countries represented, including Belgium, Canada, Netherlands, Ireland, Nepal, Oman, Scotland, and the UAE, this year’s tournament is set to be the most globally diverse and thrilling edition yet!

In addition to unveiling the Silver category players, the PCB has introduced major changes to the player draft structure. The Platinum categories have been streamlined from three to two, while the Diamond categories have been reduced from three to one. Gold categories are now trimmed from three to two, and the Silver category is now limited to just three, intensifying the competition for franchise spots.

The revised draft order has Lahore Qalandars securing the first pick in the Platinum 1 category, followed by Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi, Multan Sultans, and Islamabad United. Quetta Gladiators will take the first pick in the Platinum 2 category, followed by Karachi Kings.

Originally scheduled to take place in Gwadar, Balochistan, the PSL 10 player draft will now be held at Huzuri Bagh in Lahore on January 13, 2025, at 12:30 PM (Pakistan Standard Time) due to “unforeseen logistical challenges.”

Despite the venue change, Gwadar will still play an important role in the PSL 2025 Trophy Tour, hosting one of the key stops during the nationwide journey of the PSL trophy. The action is set to be unforgettable!
