The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has suspended the Multan Sultans franchise and issued a formal termination notice over an alleged contract breach. The move comes after owner Ali Tareen publicly criticized PCB policies, which reportedly triggered the board’s disciplinary action.

Sources say the PCB is concerned about the franchise’s *compliance with league rules. The board has warned that if the dispute isn’t resolved quickly, it may *appoint a new owner before the 11th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Multan Sultans, one of the PSL’s *biggest and most expensive teams, reportedly pays *Rs1.25 billion annually in franchise fees, making its future in the league a major talking point.
