Lahore Qalandars stands out as one of the captivating franchises in the Pakistan Super League, owned by the dynamic Rana brothers, Fawad and Sameen Rana. Representing the vibrant city of Lahore, the franchise finds its home ground at the iconic Gaddafi Stadium. Initially valued at 25.1 million US dollars over ten years, Lahore Qalandars holds the distinction of being the second most expensive franchise in the PSL, following Karachi Kings among the initial five franchises.
After experiencing setbacks in the initial four seasons of the Pakistan Super League, Lahore Qalandars achieved their first title victory in 2022 and successfully defended it in 2023. They are one of the two teams to have won the HBL PSL twice, and notably, the only team to have defended their title, a feat accomplished in 2023.
