English cricketer David Willey has announced his decision to skip the Indian Premier League (IPL) and join the Pakistan Super League (PSL). The English fast bowler has registered for the PSL player draft and will be available for the entire tournament.
Willey was part of the Lucknow Super Giants squad in the IPL but has now opted out of the tournament. In PSL’s 9th edition, he represented Multan Sultans, who officially signed him.
The registration process for foreign players in the PSL draft is ongoing, with several renowned English cricketers participating.
During PSL 9, Willey played 11 matches, taking 15 wickets at an average of 20.40 and an economy rate of 7.46, making him the fourth-highest wicket-taker of the season.
