But the actress-turned-host brushed off the noise with a bold clapback: her mother loved the show, and that’s all that matters. On Instagram, Ayesha shared that her mom found the first episode “very interesting and different,” appreciating how today’s youth expressed emotions and choices in a positive way.

“Did my mum like the first episode? Bilkulllll! That’s what matters most to me,” Ayesha quipped, noting that even Bulbulay, the sitcom that made her a household name, took years to win her mom’s approval.

The actress urged fans to catch the episode on YouTube and share feedback, while also gushing about the strong bond she formed with her co-stars during filming.
