The blockbuster Pakistani film, The Legend of Maula Jatt, starring Fawad Khan, Mahira Khan, and Hamza Ali Abbasi, is finally making its way to Indian theaters on October 2, 2024.
The film’s release, which had been postponed since December 2022, was confirmed through an announcement on the film’s official Instagram account.

The release had faced delays due to various issues, including opposition from the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) and awaiting clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
Despite these hurdles, the film is set to debut in India, marking the first Pakistani film to hit Indian screens in over a decade, following Shoaib Mansoor’s Bol.
The Legend of Maula Jatt, which premiered on October 13, 2022, has achieved remarkable success, grossing over Rs4 billion globally by August 2023.
This milestone makes it the highest-grossing Pakistani film ever. With its star-studded cast and impressive box office performance, anticipation is high among Indian audiences eagerly awaiting its release.
