Veteran Bollywood actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha was recently admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai due to a viral fever.
This hospitalization occurred just days after the wedding of his daughter, Sonakshi Sinha.
The 77-year-old actor, renowned for his significant contributions to Bollywood and his political career, is currently under treatment. His son, Luv Sinha, informed the media that the hospitalization was a precautionary measure to ensure his father’s swift recovery and to conduct his annual health checks.
Luv Sinha refuted rumors that his father had undergone surgery, stating, “I visit the hospital daily. There has been no surgery; he is simply recovering from a viral fever.”
Speculation arose when Sonakshi Sinha and her husband, Zaheer Iqbal, were seen leaving Kokilaben Hospital on June 28. However, it was clarified that their visit was to see Shatrughan Sinha.
Shatrughan Sinha’s hospitalization came shortly after his daughter Sonakshi Sinha’s interfaith marriage to Zaheer Iqbal on June 23. The couple celebrated their love in a private ceremony and were recently seen together at a family dinner in Mumbai.
Sinha, who has successfully transitioned from a celebrated film career to a prominent political role, has been an influential figure in both arenas for decades, serving as a Member of Parliament and engaging in various political activities.
