🔥💥 Indian pop icon Alisha Chinai, famously known as “The Madonna of India,” has once again shaken Bollywood with shocking revelations!
In a recent interview, Alisha revisited the painful memories of her 1996 sexual harassment case against music composer Anu Malik, saying:
> “When I stood up for justice, the entire industry turned against me!”
🎤 Industry Betrayed Me
Alisha revealed that after she accused Anu Malik of harassment, Bollywood completely boycotted her.
> “My career was nearly destroyed. Powerful people made sure I didn’t get work again.”
She added that it was her husband and manager Rajesh who encouraged her to keep fighting.
“I didn’t want to continue the case, but my husband said — ‘You must stand for justice!’”
⚖️ A Woman Against a Man’s World
The singer shared that Bollywood at that time was a “man’s world”, where women had no voice.
Her case was dismissed immediately, but years later, during the #MeToo movement, several women spoke out against Anu Malik — and Alisha openly supported them.

Surprisingly, despite the bitter past, Alisha Chinai and Anu Malik reunited in 2003 for the film “Ishq Vishk” and even served together as judges on Indian Idol.
Alisha revealed,
