Pakistani music icon Ali Zafar has thrown his weight behind PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, praising him for his bold call for peace in a viral interview clip.
Bilawal, speaking to Indian journalist Karan Thapar, delivered a powerful rebuttal to anti-Pakistan narratives:
“I hope Indians see through the misinformation. Not every Pakistani is a terrorist. We’re not enemies — we want peace, not war. I don’t want future generations to keep fighting over Kashmir, terrorism, or now even water.”
Ali Zafar reshared the clip on X, saying:
“What Bilawal said in that interview truly resonated with me.”

In a heartfelt message, the singer voiced hope for an end to generations of hostility between the two nations.
“As we step into an era of awareness and wisdom, old mindsets are losing their grip. One day, children on both sides will ask — ‘Wait, were India and Pakistan really enemies?’”
He went on to imagine a future where the new generation questions the past:
“They’ll wonder why we couldn’t even meet. Why didn’t we hug it out and talk it through? Who taught us to hate this deeply?”
Ending on a hopeful note, Ali Zafar said:
“This generation can choose peace — and that choice could be beautiful.”
