Actor Sarwat Gilani has broken her silence on what really happened behind the scenes of Jawani Phir Nahi Aani. In a recent interview, she accused Humayun Saeed and his production team of unprofessional behavior, saying she was “used for work and then pushed aside.”
The Churails star, who appeared in both Jawani Phir Nahi Aani films, said she has now refused to join the third part of the hit comedy series. Although she still respects Humayun Saeed, Nadeem Baig, and Ahmed Ali Butt, she made it clear she has no plans to play her character “Gul” again.
Sarwat revealed that during the promotions of Jawani Phir Nahi Aani 2, she paid for her own London trip but got no response or support from the team. “I felt like they had taken what they needed and then moved on,” she said.
She added that many of her scenes were cut from both films, calling it unfair and disrespectful to an artist’s effort. Sarwat concluded that she will never again compromise her self-respect for fame or a film role.
