Bollywood director Ali Abbas Zafar has revealed a little-known secret from movie Tiger Zinda Hai: the breathtaking portrait of Katrina Kaif in the romantic song Dil Diyan Gallan wasn’t a prop—it was painted by Salman Khan himself.

Shot in the icy landscapes of Austria, Salman used a frozen lake as his canvas, creating a 20-foot portrait of Katrina that stunned the crew. The team even had to arrange special natural colors that would hold on ice to bring the artwork alive.
Zafar said the song was designed as a classic, Yash Chopra-style romance, and Salman’s hidden artistic flair gave it an unforgettable touch. The portrait not only added magic to the visuals but also amplified the chemistry between Tiger and Zoya.
Released in 2017, Dil Diyan Gallan quickly became the film’s most-loved track, made even more soulful by Atif Aslam’s voice. Years later, it remains a fan favorite and a shining example of Salman and Katrina’s on-screen charm.
