Reema’s Graceful Yet Powerful Response to Nasir Adeeb’s Controversial Comments

-

Reema Khan is regarded as one of Pakistan’s most celebrated film stars. She enjoyed a highly successful career in cinema but made the decision to retire at its peak, stepping away from films to marry Dr. Tariq Shahab.

Now living a blissful married life in the United States, the couple is the proud parents of a beautiful son. Reema frequently visits Pakistan, and her fans are always thrilled to see her grace the screen again.

Recently, Pakistani film writer Nasir Adeeb made headlines with some controversial remarks about Reema Khan’s career and her debut in the film industry. He revealed that he had met her before her first film and ultimately rejected her for a role.

In his podcast, Nasir Adeeb also made a striking claim, stating that at the time, Reema belonged to Heera Mandi (the red-light area) and that he had rejected her because of her “emotionless eyes.”

The details shared by Nasir Adeeb sparked outrage, with fans and fellow artists voicing their strong disapproval. Many of Reema’s colleagues felt that his comments were unnecessary and undeserving of public attention.

Although Reema had remained silent until now, she has responded to the remarks with remarkable grace. She posted a “Jumma Mubarak” message for her fans, stating, “A person can be the best creation of Allah only when others are protected from his harm.”
