“Respect is earned, not given”—a reality Javed Sheikh experienced firsthand in Bollywood.
Veteran actor Javed Sheikh, known for his versatility in both drama and film, has also worked in Indian cinema. He received a warm welcome in Bollywood, but he also faced some unpleasant experiences, which he recently shared.
In an interview, he revealed that during the shooting of Jannat, he was introduced to Emraan Hashmi, but the actor did not respond to his greeting. This led to nearly two weeks of cold vibes between them, with no conversation.
Javed Sheikh further shared that when the director asked him to rehearse with Emraan Hashmi, he refused to approach him first, insisting that Hashmi should come to him instead.
He also acknowledged that throughout his long career, he has worked with top Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Salman Khan, all of whom have always treated him with respect.
