Apparently, Bollywood’s evergreen star Anil Kapoor didn’t just make headlines with his acting debut—he also made waves by not making it to the shower! Filmmaker Boney Kapoor recently revealed a hilarious story about his younger brother that’s left fans in splits.
Anil Kapoor’s first acting gig was in the unreleased film Tu Payal Main Geet. And while the movie never saw the light of day, Anil made sure his on-screen makeup saw plenty of daylight! According to Boney, Anil avoided bathing for days after the shoot, all in an effort to preserve his “actor look.”
Recalling the incident, Boney shared, “Anil always wanted to be an actor. When he was still in school, he played the childhood role of Shashi Kapoor in a 1970 film. After that, he was so thrilled about being on-screen that he avoided bathing for two or three days. He didn’t want to wash off the makeup—he wanted the whole world to know he’d officially become an actor!”
