Mr. & Mrs. Shameem was originally braoadcasted two years before on an Indian-owned Zindagi website and was not available for viewing in Pakistan. The channel has now decided to air it on YouTube .
Originally, It is a Pakistani web series released on Zee 5 on 11 March 2022. It is written by Saji Gul and directed by Kashif Nisar who co-produced it with Misbah Shafique. The web series stars Nauman Aijaz and Saba Qamar in leading roles.
The show was widely praised for challenging societal norms and redefining the meaning of love and masculinity. Following the success of Abdullahpur Ka Devdas, Mrs & Mr Shameem is the second original series to be shared on the platform’s newly set up YouTube channel.
In a world where conventional notions of romance and gender roles dominate, Mrs & Mr Shameem dares to tell a different story. Through the journey of Shameem, portrayed by Ijaz, and Umaina (Saba Qamar), audiences will witness a love that transcends boundaries and defies expectations.
The series has 20 episodes and will air every Tuesday and Friday at 7:30pm, starting from April 26.

Mrs & Mr Shameem is directed by Kashif Nisar, who is known for dramas Dumpukht Aatish E Ishq, and O Rangreza. It has been produced by Nisar and Misbah Shafique while the script has been penned by contemporary writer Sajjad Gul.
