Drama Controversy – Seefy Soomro’s Missing Artwork illegally Featured in ‘Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum

-

Prominent Sindh-based artist Seffy Soomro has expressed serious concerns about the unauthorized use of his artwork in the popular TV drama “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.”

In one scene, the characters discuss a wall painting that Soomro claims is his, originally submitted for an exhibition at Karachi’s Frere Hall in 2017.

The painting was lost or stolen during the exhibition, and Soomro had no knowledge of its whereabouts until now.

It has recently reappeared without his permission in the trending ARY Digital drama “Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum,” specifically in Episode 17 around the 42:45 mark.

Soomro, whose work was part of her thesis at the University of Sindh’s Fine Arts Department, was initially informed that his artwork had been lost. Now, he accuses the production team of using his painting without providing credit or compensation.

The artist, who possesses proof of ownership, is demanding justice and proper acknowledgment of his work.
