Jawad Ahmad, a former singer, labeled Abrarul Haq as a “religious hypocrite” on social media.
In response, the Billo De Ghar hitmaker speculated that Ahmad’s comments might have been driven by “failure” and “jealousy.”
Haq, in a recent interview on a digital news platform, addressed Ahmad’s accusations, stating, “This statement – him calling me a sinner and a religious hypocrite – it’s not right, you see. Only Allah has the power to call me a religious hypocrite. I know I’m not, because I always mention Allah in my statements.
“Despite a screenshot circulating online, the Express Tribune couldn’t independently verify Ahmad’s tweet. Haq, however, offered a theory for Ahmad’s actions, attributing them to anger stemming from failures. “He’s so full of anger now after all his failures, and it all results in this sort of reaction,” Haq calmly explained. “You often see it in people who are jealous, and I pray to Allah to protect me from such people.”
Haq reflected on his past rivalry with Ahmad, asserting his own success by mentioning how he consistently outperformed Ahmad in competitions. He even expressed pity for Ahmad, noting, “I used to feel sorry for him.”
Haq further elaborated on Ahmad’s attempts to emulate him, both in the entertainment industry and in charity work.
He disclosed that Ahmad had once claimed that only failed professionals turn to charity, insinuating that Ahmad himself had experienced limited success.
Haq also mentioned Ahmad’s endeavor to establish a hospital, which he believed would not succeed. Additionally, he recalled Ahmad’s futile attempts to disrupt his charity work, such as making prank calls.
Both Haq and Ahmad entered the music scene in the late nineties and later transitioned into politics. While Haq has recently retreated from the political arena, Ahmad has not yet responded to Haq’s comments on his social media platforms, as of the filing of this report.
