Sunil Pal Reported Missing After Mumbai Show
Popular Indian comedian Sunil Pal has gone missing, with his wife filing a report after he failed to return home following a show in Mumbai.
As per Indian media, the 49-year-old comedian left Mumbai for an outstation gig, assuring his family he’d be back on December 3. When he didn’t show up, his wife, Sarita Pal, approached the police, stating she had been trying to contact him on his phone but received no reply.
Sunil Pal became a household name in 2005 after winning The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. He later featured in hit movies like Hum Tum and Phir Hera Pheri in supporting roles.
Despite his success, the comedian faced industry struggles. In 2017, he accused filmmaker Anees Bazmee of withholding payment for a performance and revealed that ₹20–25 lakhs were stuck with various producers, calling the treatment unacceptable.
Authorities are now investigating his sudden disappearance.
