Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, has taken on a new challenge from Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro. Maduro posted a video on social media inviting Musk to a fight.
In a response on his social media platform, X, Musk, 53, wrote, “I accept.”
Maduro, 61, claimed Musk wants to invade Venezuela with his rockets and challenged him to a fight. He said, “Elon Musk, you are desperate. Control yourself, or you’ll fail like those right-wing American politicians. Whoever messes with me dries up. You want to fight? Let’s have it.”
He added, “If you want it, I want it. Just say where.”
This challenge follows Maduro’s victory in the presidential election, though the results are disputed by the opposition.
Musk shared videos of Venezuelans tearing down images of Maduro and statues of Hugo Chavez. Maduro accused Musk of controlling social media and being Venezuela’s new archenemy.
Previously, Musk had challenged Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg to a fight, but it never took place.
There is buzz on social media after Musk accepted Maduro’s challenge.

Musk replied, “Maduro is a big guy and probably knows how to fight, so this would be a real fight. Zuck is a little fella, so that would be a short fight lol.”
Another Netizen asked who would win between Maduro and Musk. Musk said, “If I win, he resigns as dictator of Venezuela. If he wins, I give him a free ride to Mars.”
