Bollywood actress and filmmaker Pooja Bhatt recently shared a surprising childhood memory about her father, veteran director Mahesh Bhatt, during a podcast episode featuring the father-daughter duo.
Pooja recalled a night when her father came home drunk, and her mother Kiran Bhatt had to lock him out on the balcony to prevent him from entering the house. She explained that her mother told her not to open the door, as such behavior was unacceptable and had become a repeated problem.
The actress also revealed that later, Mahesh Bhatt confided in her about a woman named Soni, saying he planned to marry her. “He told me before my mother knew, and I took that as a sign of trust,” Pooja said.
