Mahira Khan recently marked her son Azlan’s 15th birthday by sharing a heartfelt throwback photo on Instagram.
The image, which captures a young Mahira tenderly looking at her newborn son, was taken on September 15, 2009, the day Azlan was born.
In her post, Mahira reflects on the joy of becoming a mother at 24, expressing how Azlan has been her entire world. “A 24-year-old me, gazing at my whole world, my one and only, Azlan,” she wrote, accompanied by a black heart and earth emoji to signify her deep affection.
The actress included a warm birthday message for Azlan and all children, praying for their safety, health, and happiness. “May Allah keep my Azlan and all children safe, bless them with long, healthy lives, and protect them from harm. Ameen,” Mahira added.
Mahira also shared a prayer her mother often says, asking for peace for all mothers’ hearts. The post featured “Hey Jude” by The Beatles, a song Mahira listened to during her pregnancy and after Azlan’s birth, revealing that both The Beatles and Michael Jackson remain favorites of her son.
“PS: This song was played the most while Azzu was in my tummy and after he was born! He still loves The Beatles and MJ!” Mahira concluded.
