What was meant to be a star-studded celebration with Bollywood icon Hrithik Roshan has spiraled into controversy, as frustrated fans accuse the tour of poor planning, mismanagement—and even snobbery.
Hrithik, joined by girlfriend Saba Azad, made several public appearances during his US tour, including a reunion with Krrish co-star Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas. But off-stage, fans say the experience didn’t live up to the hype.

What was billed as a star-studded fan experience turned sour as attendees who shelled out up to $1,500 vented online, calling the event disorganised and underdelivered. From missed photo ops to a lacklustre performance, the backlash was swift and brutal.
“Could’ve gone to Mexico on that budget,” one user scoffed, while another fumed, “$1500 is INR 1.29 lakh—Tum log pagal ho kya?”
A Reddit user summed up the mood, calling the night “more scam than celebration,” accusing Hrithik of refusing photos in a “rude and arrogant” manner. “He came off as cold and condescending—it shattered the illusion,” wrote another.
Critics also took aim at his appearance, with one attendee claiming, “He didn’t even look like Hrithik—more like an unfit imposter. Maybe those Insta abs were just filters.” The choreography was branded outdated, and poor sound quality further ruined the vibe. “He did the same old hand moves, and the mic lagged. Nothing felt premium.”
Despite the uproar, organisers have denied all allegations, calling them “baseless” and “malicious.” They claim Hrithik met fans in five cities, with “hundreds of photos” as proof.
But for many, the damage is done. What should’ve been a dream night turned into a pricey disappointment—and fans aren’t staying quiet.
