Even Bollywood’s biggest stars aren’t safe from the occasional security snafu—and Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan have some hilarious stories to prove it!
Amitabh Bachchan recently shared a funny (yet slightly embarrassing) incident during the new episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 16. In a lighthearted tone, he revealed how he once faced disrespect from security—and it wasn’t even for trying to sneak into a nightclub!
He explained, “I’m talking about the 1980s, when we first started doing stage shows. My journey began with a hit show in the US that got the audience so excited, they were practically cheering from their seats!”
But here’s where it gets comical: When he was about to perform in Chicago, the organizers had a “brilliant” idea. “Since the show had become so popular,” Amitabh continued, “they suggested I don’t come in through the stage, but rather walk through the audience. They even set up a gate for me to enter. But when I reached the gate…the police stopped me!”
The security guard said, “You can’t go in,” and Big B had to remind them, “Uh, I’m the reason this whole show is happening!”
But wait, it gets better. Amitabh added, “Shah Rukh Khan had a similar experience. Back in the day, during a show in Delhi when his popularity was off the charts…”
Shah Rukh, arriving late, tried to get in but got stopped by the police too. When he introduced himself, the officer replied, “If you’re Shah Rukh Khan, you can go in, but not right now. I’m too busy keeping track of all this stardom!”
It seems even legends like Big B and SRK sometimes have to deal with the starstruck security!
