Amitabh Bachchan, Bollywood’s iconic superstar, recently made a sweet confession about being a huge fan of South Indian sensation Allu Arjun. But he also had a little request for fans—stop comparing them!
In a fun chat on Kaun Banega Crorepati season 16, Big B addressed a fan from Kolkata who pointed out the similarities between his acting style and Allu Arjun’s, especially when it comes to comedy. While acknowledging Arjun’s immense talent, Amitabh said, “Allu Arjun is an incredible artist, and he totally deserves all the recognition he’s getting. I’m a big fan of his too.”
He also gave a shoutout to Arjun’s latest blockbuster, Pushpa 2: The Rule, telling the fan, “If you haven’t seen it yet, you should definitely check it out. But hey, don’t compare me to him!”
The fan, clearly starstruck, insisted that both actors share similar quirks, like biting their collar and blinking their eyes during funny moments, plus both have those rich, powerful voices. “Meeting you has fulfilled my dream; now I just need to meet Allu Arjun,” she said.
Just for context, Pushpa 2, starring Allu Arjun, dropped on December 5 and has already smashed over INR 1700 crores in worldwide ticket sales.
