Karachi’s Temperature Expected to Decrease After October 27

-

Karachi has been enduring high temperatures in recent weeks, but Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfaraz predicts a cooling trend by the end of this week.

“The sea breeze has picked up since last evening, and we expect temperatures to start dropping after October 24,” Sarfaraz stated.

As the financial hub of Pakistan deals with the ongoing heat, various cities are similarly affected due to prevailing continental air.

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has reported humidity levels at 78%, with maximum temperatures anticipated between 37°C and 38°C over the next 24 hours.

The Met Office has forecasted hot and humid weather with a minimum temperature of around 25.8°C. Sarfaraz explained that the rise in temperature this October is contributing to increased humidity levels.

He noted that rain is unlikely during October and November and that the country won’t experience unusually cold temperatures this winter. However, he mentioned that Islamabad and northern areas are starting to feel the chill at night.
