The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) predicts hot and humid conditions in Karachi over the next three days, with an expectation of active sea breezes providing relief during this period.
Additionally, a reduction in temperatures is anticipated across most districts of Sindh by June.
The heatwave alert center forecasts Karachi to continue facing hot and humid weather for the next three days, with temperatures ranging between 35 and 37 degrees Celsius on Monday and 34 to 36 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. However, active sea breezes are expected to alleviate the heat.
In Sanghar, Hyderabad, Matiari, Tando Allahyar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Mirpurkhas, and Umerkot, temperatures could reach between 42 and 44 degrees Celsius, while Thatta, Sujawal, Badin, and Tharparkar may experience temperatures ranging from 38 to 40 degrees Celsius.
Jacobabad recorded the highest temperature in rural Sindh on Sunday, reaching 46.5 degrees Celsius, which is 2.2 degrees above the June average temperature.
