Heavy Rainfall Predicted for Karachi and Sindh

-

The Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rainfall across several districts of Sindh, including Karachi, starting Monday.

According to the Early Warning Center, a strong monsoon system is expected to enter Sindh tonight, bringing moderate to heavy rain and thunderstorms in Karachi by tomorrow.

The rain in Karachi is expected to continue into Tuesday, providing relief from the heat but also raising concerns about urban flooding and traffic disruptions.

Rural districts in Sindh will also experience thundershowers from this evening until July 30. Residents are advised to take necessary precautions and stay updated with weather alerts.

Local authorities are preparing for potential issues such as waterlogging and disruptions to daily activities. Citizens are urged to stay indoors during heavy rain and avoid unnecessary travel.
