Astronomers have predicted that the moon of Zul Hijjah is likely to be sighted in Pakistan on May 28.
Astronomy expert Dr. Faheem Hashmi stated that there is little chance of sighting the new moon on May 27, as its age at sunset will be just 11 hours.
He predicted that the moon will be visible on May 28, and based on that, Eidul Azha is most likely to fall on Saturday, June 7, in Pakistan.
He further explained that on May 28, the moon’s age will exceed 35 hours.
