Sindh Government Launches Online Driving License Service for Citizens

The Sindh government has launched an online driving licence service to enhance convenience for its residents.

This initiative allows citizens to easily obtain learning and international driving license’s online, with plans to introduce non-commercial licence renewal services shortly.

To apply for a learning licence, individuals can log onto the website https://dlsonline.sindhpolice.gov.pk/. After a waiting period of 42 days, they can then apply for a permanent licence at any designated branch.

During the launch ceremony, Provincial Home Minister Ziaul Hasan Lanjar congratulated the IG Sindh and DIG Driving Licence for this modern advancement. He highlighted the importance of modern policing and noted that this initiative will further enhance the image of the Sindh Police.

Additionally, the Sindh government previously announced that all 11 driving licence branches across the province are now equipped to issue international driving licences.

This service became available online for Sindh residents holding valid licences starting September 14, with six branches in Karachi and locations in Hyderabad, Nawabshah, Mirpurkhas, Sukkur, and Larkana participating in the initiative.
