PPP’s Sharjeel Memon calls Tessori’s Resignation accusing MQM-P of Spreading Hatred and Blame
KARACHI: The Sindh government demanded the immediate resignation of Governor Kamran Tessori on Monday, accusing the Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) of divisive tactics.
In a press conference, Senior Minister for Excise, Taxation, Narcotics Control, Transport, and Mass Transit Sharjeel Inam Memon, alongside Energy Minister Nasir Hussain Shah, criticized the MQM-P for fostering hatred and engaging in a blame game.
Memon claimed the MQM-P has lost its relevance at the grassroots level. “MQM’s outdated politics of hatred and accusations no longer resonate with the people at the Union Council level,” he asserted.
Memon also condemned MQM-P Convener Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui for his derogatory remarks about former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
