Sindh Assembly Calls for Efforts to Bring Back Dr. Aafia Siddiqui

The Sindh Assembly has passed a resolution asking for Dr. Aafia Siddiqui to be brought back to Pakistan.

The resolution, presented by Mohammad Farooq from Jamaat-e-Islami, received unanimous support. During the session, Provincial Minister Syed Sardar Shah mentioned that the federal government is working on this issue.

He announced that a high-level committee will go to the United States to discuss Dr. Siddiqui’s case. Shah also stated that the Sindh Assembly’s support would be helpful in these efforts.
