Pakistan is set to host the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit next week, with leaders from seven nations, including China and Russia, confirmed to attend.
Prime ministers from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan will also participate, along with Iran’s First Vice President and India’s External Affairs Minister.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will chair the meeting, which will focus on cooperation in trade, the economy, and cultural exchanges.
Despite a recent terrorist attack, high-level attendance shows the SCO’s continued commitment to regional cooperation.
