Punjab Bank Secures Rs-1 Billion Naming Rights Deal for Gaddafi Stadium

-

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has finalised a five-year, Rs1 billion agreement with the Bank of Punjab for the naming rights of Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, significantly surpassing the revenue from Karachi’s stadium deal.

In preparation for the Champions Trophy, the PCB is upgrading stadiums in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi. To help fund these upgrades, it tendered the naming rights for Gaddafi Stadium, leading to this high-value contract.

Previously, Karachi’s stadium was rebranded as National Bank Cricket Arena in a Rs450 million deal set to end in 2027.
