He emphasized that the failure to implement UN resolutions has emboldened Israel and poses a grave threat of dragging the entire Middle East into a devastating war.

His speech has attracted over 140,000 views on the UN’s official YouTube channel since its upload on September 28, outpacing speeches from several prominent world leaders, including U.S.
President Joe Biden, whose address has received 103,000 views since September 22.
The Chinese foreign minister’s speech, uploaded a day earlier, garnered only 84,000 views, while Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s address, relevant amid the ongoing Middle East crisis, attracted just 51,000 views since its upload on September 25.
Additionally, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar’s speech, uploaded a day before PM Shehbaz’s, received only 52,000 views.
In his UNGA address, PM Shehbaz warned that the illegal occupations of Palestine and Kashmir are creating a “fresh hell” daily.
He called for efforts to resolve these disputes and addressed global challenges such as terrorism, climate change, and Islamophobia.
Criticizing India for its military expansion, he declared that Pakistan would respond decisively to any aggression.
He also condemned the ongoing Israeli actions in Gaza as “systematic slaughter” and demanded an immediate end to the atrocities, stating, “The blood of Gaza’s children stains the hands of not just the oppressors, but also those complicit in prolonging this cruel conflict.”
