PIA Privatization Bidding Set for October 1st, NA Committee Informed

National Assembly’s privatization committee has announced that the bidding process for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) will take place on October 1st.

During a session chaired by MQM’s Farooq Sattar, it was revealed that six companies are expected to participate in the bidding.

Sattar stated that PIA will be the first among state-owned enterprises to undergo privatization, and efforts will be made to broadcast the bidding process live.

He emphasized that employee rights will be safeguarded, with no compromise on salaries and allowances.
