Pakistani Athletes Shine at Chicago Marathon 2024

Pakistani runners delivered outstanding performances at the 2024 Chicago Marathon, with Muhammad Amin Nadeem Mukaty emerging as the fastest Pakistani, clocking an impressive time of 2:44:32 and securing the 761st position overall in a field of over 50,000 participants.

Mukaty was followed closely by Syed Sadiq Hussain Shah, who completed the race in 2:52:24, and Nizar Nayani, a Pakistani-American, who finished in 2:53:26. Another notable performer, Shehryar Khursheed, broke the 3-hour mark with a time of 2:57:22.

Among the women, Sara Tahoor Lodhi stood out as the fastest Pakistani female participant, finishing the marathon in 3:45:54. She was followed by Semeena Khan at 3:52:47 and Nadia Rehman, who completed the race in 4:14:44.

The strong showing by Pakistani athletes at this prestigious event highlights the growing presence and competitiveness of Pakistan in the international running community.
