Good News From Pakistan Railways – Launches Special Summer Trains

-

In response to the overwhelming rush and overcrowding during the summer holidays, Pakistan Railways has launched additional train services to accommodate the surge in travelers. This new initiative aims to provide passengers with a more comfortable and efficient travel experience.

The “Summer Vacation Special Train” is a newly introduced service that will run between Karachi and Rawalpindi. Departing from Karachi at 8:45 PM, the train is scheduled to arrive in Lahore by 3:40 PM the next day. The inaugural journey from Rawalpindi is set for July 5 at 12:30 PM.

The Summer Vacation Special Train is designed with 17 coaches to meet the diverse needs of passengers, featuring:

2 AC Business class coaches
2 AC Standard class coaches
12 Economy class coaches
1 Power train

This special train service is part of Pakistan Railways’ broader efforts to increase capacity and improve facilities for travelers during peak seasons. By introducing these extra trains, the railway authorities aim to reduce the strain on existing services, offering a more convenient travel option for families and individuals planning their vacations.

The public has warmly welcomed this initiative, as overcrowded trains have long been a challenge, particularly during holiday periods.
