In a historic first for Pakistan, the country made a significant impact at the International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO-2024) held in the Philippines.

Pakistan’s team had a remarkable debut at the Olympiad, winning two silver and two bronze medals.
Suleman Nouman from Siddeeq Public School, Islamabad, and Subhan Kashif from Lahore Grammar School earned silver medals.
Ehban Awan from Karachi Grammar School and Qasim Salam from Siddeeq Public School Rawalpindi won bronze medals.
The Pakistan Institute of Engineering and Applied Sciences (PIEAS), under the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC), selected and trained these students after rigorous testing.
The Olympiad, held in Clark, Philippines, from August 1-6, 2024, was sponsored by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and other global institutions.
The students, their families, teachers, and mentors are praised for their distinguished representation of Pakistan.
This success follows recent wins by Pakistani students in International Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics Olympiads, marking another proud achievement in Nuclear Science.
