Azerbaijan has made a significant advancement in its military capabilities with the official induction of JF-17C fighter jets into its Air Force.
The Ministry of Defense announced the integration of these advanced aircraft, underscoring the collaboration between Pakistan and China.
During a ceremony held to mark this occasion, President Ilham Aliyev, accompanied by Pakistani military officials, evaluated the jets’ capabilities and inspected one from the inside.
The JF-17C, developed through a partnership between Pakistan Aeronautical Complex and China’s Chengdu Aircraft Corporation, is a modern, lightweight, all-weather fighter designed to operate effectively both day and night.
The acquisition of these jets, valued at approximately $1.6 billion, reflects Azerbaijan’s commitment to enhancing its military strength. This move is part of a broader strategy to modernize its defense forces and improve its operational capabilities in the region.
As Azerbaijan continues to strengthen its military partnerships and invest in advanced technology, the induction of the JF-17C fighter jets marks a notable step forward in its defense efforts.
