In a dramatic turn of events, opposition leaders arriving for the much-anticipated All Parties Conference (APC) in Islamabad were left stranded after the hotel abruptly canceled their booking — allegedly under pressure.

Key figures like Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, Asad Qaiser, Mohammad Zubair, and Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi had reached the venue when they were informed of the cancellation. The Tehreek Tahaffuz Aain-e-Pakistan, organizing the APC, quickly shifted the venue to Khokhar’s farmhouse in Tarlai, where the conference finally kicked off.
Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar Speaks Out
Khokhar slammed the move as an attack on democracy. “This is fascism. The government once held APCs during the PDM era, but now they’ve become the very thing they spoke against,” he said. “No one can stop us. The hotel staff was pressured—they’re not at fault.”
“This Is Martial Law Without the Uniform” – Sajid Tareen
Tareen called it a silent martial law. “Every party has the right to protest. Today, that right is being snatched from us. We won’t stay silent.”
Zubair Umar: “Public Is Boiling Over”
“The people are not with this government,” said Zubair. “In 2024, the mandate was stolen in broad daylight. We were never stopped like this during PTI’s rule. This is pure dictatorship.”
Liaqat Baloch: “Even Islamabad Isn’t Free Anymore”
Baloch condemned the incident and said, “If this can happen in the capital, imagine what’s happening in Balochistan and KP. The Constitution is being bulldozed.”
Raja Nasir Abbas: “Pakistan Is Sinking”
“The country is headed for disaster. Denying us the right to gather is shameful. We will exercise our rights and won’t back off,” he vowed.
Asad Qaiser: “We’ll Take This Movement Forward”
Qaiser said PTI’s founder is jailed just because “some people don’t like him.” He questioned court decisions and warned against undermining the Constitution.
Despite the hurdles, the APC successfully began at the new venue with senior opposition leaders arriving one after another. Mahmood Khan Achakzai opened the conference, joined by Javed Hashmi, Khokhar, Qaiser, Baloch, and others—united under the banner of constitutional protection.
