Silence Bought for Rs. 7 Billion-MQM’s Quiet Deal Exposed by JI Leader

-

Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi’s Ameer, Muneem Zafar, has made a bold claim that MQM received a massive 7 billion rupees to stay quiet. In a fiery press conference at Noor-e-Haq Foundation, Zafar slammed MQM, accusing them of attacking UC 5, Jinnah Town, and assaulting local leaders. He also emphasized that those forced into leadership positions through Form 47 should know their boundaries.

Zafar didn’t hold back in criticizing MQM, saying the party has brought nothing but extortion and violence to the city. He also called out K-Electric, pointing out that despite being in power for 19 years, they’ve failed to fix the electricity crisis. The city still faces 12-hour power cuts in the winter!

In his fiery speech, Zafar went after NEPRA, calling it a “rubber stamp” for K-Electric. Despite a hefty fine of 50 million rupees, K-Electric insists that load shedding isn’t going anywhere. Zafar made it clear that until K-Electric stops hurting the people, Jamaat-e-Islami’s fight will continue.

Zafar also took a swipe at MQM, saying if they were serious about Karachi, the city wouldn’t be in the state it is today. With Karachi ranking 169th out of 173 livable cities, he demanded that K-Electric’s license be revoked and the city get power directly from NTDC.

He also slammed the delays in major projects, pointing out how roads are left in ruins for years while projects in other cities are completed in less than a year. The Red Line project has been stuck for over 35 months and is nowhere near completion.

Lastly, Zafar mocked Asif Zardari, saying if he truly wanted to end corruption, it would be the most absurd thing to witness!
