“Missing Chief Minister” – Doubts and Concerns over Gandapur’s Comeback

-

After the dramatic return of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur following his 30-hour abduction and arrest, reactions from within the PTI have begun to emerge.

Renowned poet and PTI supporter Ahmad Farhad remarked, “Mr. Ali Amin, even if you were to stand on the roof of the holy Kaaba and make a statement, people wouldn’t believe you.”

Ahmad Farhad, a prominent PTI supporter, is often seen at the party’s rallies and protests.

In a post on social media, he stated, “We are just waking up and are aware that this situation is not what is being portrayed.”

Moreover, numerous PTI supporters on social media expressed their disappointment regarding Gandapur’s return.

Journalist Sadiq Jan also claimed on “X” that “PTI sources assert that Ali Amin Gandapur became irrelevant after his visit to the KP House; his remarks do not reflect the party’s policy.”

He added that “the PTI political committee has decided to hold a meeting immediately after Ali Amin Gandapur’s speech, and the committee will announce the future course of action”.
