The Judicial Magistrate East Court has rejected the bail plea of the accused, Natasha, in the Karsaz incident related to a drug case.
The court has issued a written order stating that the defense lawyer failed to satisfy the court regarding Section 11.
The court remarked that the defense’s claim that the blood and urine samples were not properly preserved was incorrect.
In the ruling, the court noted that despite belonging to a good social background, Natasha drove under the influence of drugs.
Driving under the influence and without a license is a crime. Due to Natasha’s offense, two citizens lost their lives.
In such a case, where a key member of society is involved, the court’s responsibility increases. The petitioner could not present any valid reason for granting bail.
