Karachi Welcomes 55 Countries and 330 Delegates for IDEAS 2024

Over 330 delegations from 55 countries have been invited to the 12th edition of the Defense Exhibition IDEAS.

At a media briefing regarding the four-day event at Expo Center Karachi, Director Coordination DEPO Brigadier Ali Adil and Director Media DEPO Commodore Aitezaz Khalid shared details about the exhibition.

Commodore Aitezaz Khalid stated that Pakistan is producing defense equipment, and locally manufactured defense products will be showcased during the event. He added that delegations from 55 countries are expected to attend IDEAS 2024, with the Prime Minister serving as the chief guest at the opening ceremony.

On the other hand, DIG Traffic has announced a special traffic plan for the event. Sir Shah Suleman Road, from Hassan Square to the Stadium, will remain closed to traffic from 7 AM to 7 PM during the exhibition but will reopen afterward.

The Defense Exhibition IDEAS will take place from November 19 to 22 at the Karachi Expo Center. The four-day event will feature an opening ceremony, seminars on defense industries, meetings, and a Karachi Show at Nishan-e-Pakistan on Seaview.

IDEAS brings together exhibitors from around the globe to showcase their defense products and equipment.
