Japanese & Australian envoys show solidarity with Pakistan in unique style

The diplomatic community in Pakistan marked Pakistan Day with warm greetings and expressions of goodwill towards the nation, highlighting the enduring bonds of friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and other countries.

The entire country is abuzz with fervour and patriotism as the nation celebrates Pakistan Day today, commemorating the historic Lahore Resolution of 1940.

This day holds immense importance in the country’s history as it reaffirms the commitment to the development, stability, and unity of Pakistan. 

The day marks the adoption of the historic Lahore Resolution in 1940, which provided a framework for achieving the goal of a separate homeland for the Muslims of South Asia.

On this special day the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Wada Mitsushiru, extended heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of Pakistan on Pakistan Day in Urdu.

In his message, he expressed his sincere wishes for the development and prosperity of Pakistan and its citizens. The ambassador emphasized the strong and enduring friendship between Japan and Pakistan, reaffirming the commitment to further strengthen bilateral ties for mutual benefit. 

In a separate gesture of camaraderie, the Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Neil Hawkins, and his wife, clad in traditional attire, participated in the Pakistan Day celebrations.

Standing beside a stall selling Pakistan Day merchandise, the high commissioner conveyed his greetings of “#PakistanDay Mubarak” to all Pakistanis, both within Pakistan and across the globe. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness and engage with the rich cultural diversity and traditions of Pakistan throughout the year.
