With a population exceeding 197 million, Pakistan has made a significant impact on the world stage. It’s unlikely that anyone globally hasn’t heard of Pakistan and its remarkable people.

Here are some of the current records that Pakistan holds in the Guinness Book of World Records:

Largest Volunteer Ambulance Service

The Edhi Foundation, established by Abdul Sattar Edhi in 1951, is recognized for its massive scale. The organization operates more than 300 centers throughout Pakistan.

Youngest Cricket Test Player

Hasan Raza became the youngest player to ever debut in Test cricket at the age of 14 years and 227 days. He made his debut against Zimbabwe in Faisalabad, Pakistan, in 1996.

Fastest Cricket Bowler

Shoaib Akhtar holds the record for the fastest delivery in cricket, clocked at 100.23 mph (161.3 km/h) during a 2003 World Cup match against England in Cape Town, South Africa.

World’s Largest Mosque

Excluding the two holy mosques of Makkah and Madinah, the Shah Faisal Mosque in Islamabad is the largest in the world, with a capacity to accommodate approximately 100,000 worshippers. It was built in 1976 in Pakistan’s capital.

Most Men’s Squash World Team Titles

Pakistan has won the Men’s Squash World Championship team title six times, in 1977, 1981, 1983, 1985, 1987, and 1993.

Most World Championship Squash Titles

Jahangir Khan holds the record for the most world championship squash titles and remains unbeaten for five years, winning 555 consecutive matches. He also became the youngest men’s winner in 1981 at 17 years and 11 months old.

Most A-Levels Cleared in a Year

Ali Moeen Nawazish, an 18-year-old prodigy, set a world record by achieving 22 A grades, one B, and one C in his A-levels, all within 12 months.

Youngest Civil Judge

Muhammad Ilyas became a Civil Judge at the age of 20 years and 9 months after passing the necessary examination in July 1952. He officially started his role in Lahore, Pakistan, eight months later.

Youngest Microsoft Certified Professional

Arfa Karim (now deceased) held the record as the youngest Microsoft Certified Professional, followed by Ayan Qureshi at 5 years and 11 months. Another prodigy, Babar Iqbal from Dera Ismail Khan, published a research paper on digital forensic science at the age of 14, marking a significant achievement in this specialized field.

Most Girls in a Car

A record was set when 19 girls fit into a two-door Smart Car, surpassing the previous record of 18 people from Australia. This feat was achieved with a car manufactured by Daimler AG in France and Germany.
