Adiala Jail authorities have responded to allegations of mistreatment regarding former Prime Minister Imran Khan by providing details about his meal arrangements.
According to a statement from jail officials, Khan’s meals are prepared by a professional cook and consist of a variety of dishes tailored to his preferences.
For breakfast, Khan enjoys a spread that includes coffee, chia seeds, beetroot juice, yogurt, chapati, biscuits, and dates.
His lunch features traditional curry, local chicken, chapati, salad, green tea, and mutton.
Dinner typically consists of porridge, coconut, coconut juice, and grapes, all prepared under the careful supervision of an assistant superintendent.
The authorities emphasized that Khan’s food is prepared according to his personal choices and maintained under strict supervision, countering claims made by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders during a recent press conference.
The jail officials assert that Imran Khan is receiving all necessary amenities while incarcerated, ensuring his dietary needs are met.
