In a notable gesture of respect and solidarity, Dr. Rudiger Lotz, the German Consul General in Karachi, visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah on Pakistan’s 77th Independence Day.
His visit highlighted the strong diplomatic bond between Germany and Pakistan and their shared values of peace and progress.
Dr. Lotz paid tribute to Jinnah, acknowledging his crucial role in the creation of Pakistan. Standing before the mausoleum, he reflected on Jinnah’s vision of a nation committed to peace, prosperity, democracy, and human rights.
He emphasized Jinnah’s dream of a country that upholds the rights of all its citizens, regardless of their background.
“Assalam Alaikum,” Dr. Lotz began, addressing the people of Pakistan. “Here, at Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum, we honor the leader who founded this country.
Muhammad Ali Jinnah’s vision of peace, prosperity, democracy, and human rights has guided Pakistan for 77 years.”
He praised Pakistan’s achievements and urged the nation to continue striving towards Jinnah’s ideals.
“Pakistan has made great progress over the past 77 years. I hope you keep moving forward. May Jinnah’s vision be realized every day. Happy Independence Day to all.”
Dr. Lotz concluded his visit with warm congratulations and best wishes for Independence Day. “I wish you all a very Happy Independence Day. Thank you,” he said, expressing his hopes for ongoing progress and peace in Pakistan.
