Crack down Against Ghost School Teachers in Sindh

-

KARACHI: The Sindh education department has launched a new initiative to address the issue of ghost teachers across the province.

This effort comes after reports that some teachers have been receiving salaries while living abroad.

The Sindh government has requested travel records for these suspected ghost teachers, starting with those identified in Shaheed Benazirabad district.

This action follows an FIA report. Previously, the department dismissed eight ghost teachers who had been collecting salaries for the past two years while residing overseas.

Taluka education officers are now identifying additional ghost teachers, with strict actions promised against those found guilty.
